If you are trying to knock out your daily challenges in the Horizon Playlist, you might have run into tasks like "Sweet Car O'Mine" or "Parklife." Both of these require you to take a specific type of ride to the Evolving World Car Meet.
It is a super simple challenge, but if you don't know exactly where to look on the map or what car to bring, you can waste a lot of time driving around aimlessly. Here is the absolute quickest way to get it done so you can claim your season playlist points and get back to racing.
Step 1: Swap into the Right Car for the Season
Before you head out, you need to make sure you are behind the wheel of the correct vehicle, or the challenge won't trigger. Open your pause menu, go to Change Cars, and use the filter option to sort your garage by the right era.
-
Summer Season ("Sweet Car O'Mine" Challenge): You need a car from the 1980s. Grab something like the 1988 BMW M5 or the classic DeLorean DMC-12.
-
Autumn Season ("Parklife" Challenge): You need a car from the 1990s. The 1995 Porsche 911 GT2 or the 1991 GMC Syclone work perfectly here.
Step 2: Fast Travel to the Hokubu Region
Once you are in the right car, it’s time to find the spot. The map can get pretty cluttered, so here is how to find it instantly:
-
Open your world map and press the Right Bumper (RB) to open your map filters. Uncheck everything except Evolving World or Car Meets to clear out the noise.
-
Look over at the eastern coast of the map in the Hokubu Region.
-
The Evolving World Car Meet is located right next to the Hokubu Time Attack / Hokubu Circuit, just north of the Irabuohashi Bridge landmark.
To save yourself a long drive, just Fast Travel directly to the Car Meet icon or the Hokubu Circuit.
Step 3: Park and Claim Your Points
Now for the easy part. Drive your car into the designated car meet zone—you can't miss it, there is a large floating Car Meet logo right above it.
Pull up, bring your car to a complete stop, and press X on your controller when the "Park" prompt pops up on your screen. Your car will slot into one of the available spaces, the challenge completion notification will hit your screen, and just like that, you are done.
